Will You Be The First Bass IQ Angler Of The Month?
High school bass anglers across the US are now eligible for the Bass IQ Angler Of The Month award, with the first monthly winner announced near the end of August 2018.
The Bass IQ AOTM will be selected from all high school anglers who have an active Bass IQ Elite Angler Profile. These angler profiles are visible to Bass IQ staff and a panel of college fishing coaches across the US. The AOTM winner will be selected based on the following criteria: GPA, tournament performance/experience, community involvement, and other profile data. More information on Bass IQ Angler Profiles is available here.
Bass IQ Elite Profile anglers are encouraged to log on and update their profile often. Summarize your tournament participation and performance, grade point average, community involvement, and upload your photos of choice. Think of this as a fishing resume that will be viewed by Bass IQ staff and the panel of college fishing coaches and recruiters.
Bass IQ Angler Of The Month awardees will win a college scholarship (more about Bass IQ Scholarships here) that can be used at the college of their choice when they become part of a US college bass fishing team. Each Bass IQ AOTM is then eligible for the Bass IQ Coaches’ Choice Angler Of The Year award.
The Bass IQ Coaches’ Choice Angler Of The Year is awarded to one worthy high school angler, selected from the previous AOTM winners in May of each year. This prestigious award comes with a $2,000 college scholarship that can be used at any US college when angler enrolls and becomes part of a college bass fishing team, prize package from our sponsors/partners, and national recognition.
High School anglers who do not plan to fish on a college team are encouraged to add their Bass IQ High School Angler Basic Profile. Both Bass IQ profile options come with benefits that include deals and discounts created for the high school angler, restricted content on the Bass IQ website, and automatic notification of Bass IQ news and updates.
Parents and coaches of high school anglers are encouraged to join the Bass IQ mailing list to be informed when new resources are added to the website.
